Yes, I know, the Worlds were over a month ago and I am still posting pictues. I got a little busy with my day job, shooting photos for fun and other life matters this month so I haven’t been working on processing these images and posting them. But here they are, racing day 2 with the older 20″ categories. This first gallery is motos and I have finals to come. Then (maybe) I will get onto the elite classes.

The first day of racing the the BMX World Championships was for the 14& under challenge classes. Unfortunately I didn’t get to shoot much as I was too busy trying to keep the boss calm while she stressed about trying to make sure our little rider was OK. My mind wasn’t really on the job either when I was snapping, so what I did get wasn’t great. Fortunately the photos from the second day of racing are better, so keep an eye out for them.

How damn quick is Sam Willoughby?! And Jared Graves is doing everything right to put himself into important mains, hopefully one will stick for him soon.

I hadn’t seen any footage or even heard much about the 4X World Championship final until I read Jared Graves’ Blog. All I knew was that he had come in 4th and there was a bit of bad luck involved. But when you watch the replay below, I’m sure you’ll agree that it was more than bad luck that kept Graves from the podium.

I hope for Jared’s sake, he is allowed to get down to business when he hits the Olympic BMX track.
